Joga Bonito Pop Up

On May 16 and 17, we hosted our Joga Bonito Pop-Up at Little Brazil in Amsterdam. For two days, the space at Raamsteeg 6 became a celebration of Brazilian football culture, vintage shirts, flair, creativity and everything that made the beautiful game feel truly beautiful.

The idea behind the pop-up came from one simple feeling: football was never meant to be robotic. It was meant to be played with freedom, rhythm and expression. Joga Bonito represents that era perfectly  a time when players brought joy to the pitch, when skills mattered, when personality showed in every touch, and when football felt like art.

For this pop-up, we curated a special selection of vintage Brazil shirts, Brazilian club shirts and classic player pieces connected to the Joga Bonito spirit. The racks were filled with yellow, green, bold designs, nostalgic details and shirts that instantly brought back memories of players who made football look effortless. From national team classics to Brazilian club gems, every piece helped tell the story of a football culture built on creativity.

Hosting the event at Little Brazil made the whole weekend feel even more special. The setting matched the concept perfectly: warm, colourful, full of energy and closely connected to Brazilian culture. It gave the pop-up an atmosphere that felt different from a regular drop. People came in to browse the shirts, talk football, discover rare pieces and soak in the feeling of a weekend built around flair and nostalgia.

What made the event stand out was the connection people had with the theme. Everyone has their own memory of Joga Bonito: a Ronaldinho touch, a Ronaldo finish, a Kaká run, a Brazil World Cup shirt, or just that feeling of watching football when it felt more expressive and free. Seeing people react to the collection and share those memories made the pop-up feel like more than just a shopping event.

Across the two days, the space brought together collectors, Brazil fans, football lovers, locals and people who simply connected with the aesthetic and energy of the theme. Some came looking for a specific shirt, others just wanted to experience the atmosphere, but everyone was part of the same celebration: bringing back the spirit of beautiful football.

We’re grateful to everyone who came by, supported the pop-up, picked up a piece, or spent time with us at Little Brazil. A big thank you as well to Little Brazil for hosting us and helping create the perfect setting for this concept.

The Joga Bonito Pop-Up was a tribute to the era of flair, creativity and fearless expression. For us, it was a reminder of why we fell in love with football in the first place  not just because of the game itself, but because of the feeling, the style and the magic around it. More special concepts, drops and football culture moments are already on the way.
