On the weekend of 8-9 november, we hosted something truly special at Kick Off Vintage: our first-ever Ajax Weekend. For two days straight, our entire store in Amsterdam was transformed into a full Ajax paradise. Everywhere you looked, the shop was covered in red and white, packed with vintage shirts, exclusive items, and supporters who came to celebrate the club’s rich history.
We curated one of our biggest Ajax collections ever, with shirts ranging all the way from the 1980s up to today. Fans could get their hands on rare classics, unique designs, and even a selection of incredible matchworn shirts from legends like Marco van Basten, Zlatan Ibrahimović and Dennis Bergkamp. Seeing people react to pieces they never thought they’d see in person made the event even more special.
We also showcased our own Kick Off Vintage creations. Our SRANANMAN hoodie—designed as a tribute to the legendary four Surinamese icons of Amsterdam football: Rijkaard, Seedorf, Kluivert and Davids—was a hit from the moment we put it on display. Alongside it, we launched a new T-shirt inspired by Ajax’s golden generation of the 70s, featuring nods to Cruijff, Keizer, Sjaak Swart and more. These items added a fresh and modern twist to a weekend dedicated to nostalgia.
It didn’t stop there. Throughout the shop we stocked all kinds of Ajax goodies: scarves, posters, keychains, stickers and plenty of smaller gems for supporters to take home. Whether people came to buy a rare shirt, browse the collection, or just soak in the atmosphere, there was something for everyone.
The turnout completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we opened, a long line began forming outside the door—and it stayed that way the entire weekend. Inside, the store was buzzing with conversation, excitement and nonstop movement. Collectors, fans, tourists, locals—everyone came together and created an atmosphere that felt electric from start to finish.
Ajax Weekend was an incredible success, and we’re genuinely grateful to everyone who showed up, waited in line, supported us, and shared this moment with us. Events like this remind us why we do what we do: to bring the magic of football culture to life and build a community around it. If you missed out, don’t worry, this was just the beginning.
